(1) Informational Meeting for Robofest 2005 Report
43 prospective
coaches came to Robofest Informational meetings held on Wed 12-15, Fri 12-17,
and Sat 12-18. They watched RoboRelay game
demonstrations, reviewed game rules, and gave a lot of constructive ideas to
improve the event for the students. They were planning the following number of
teams according to the survey done: 38 Junior division teams, 16 senior division teams, and 6 exhibitions.
Also, on Thu 12-16, 20 people participated in the live Robofest webcast.
All the materials
used in the informational meetings (PowerPoint, rules, game rules, forms, and
recorded Webcast) now can be accessed from Robofest website at www.robofest.net
If you have any suggestions,
corrections, and/or clarifications, please send emails to [email protected] before Jan 7th
2005. Final rules will be posted on Jan. 11, 2005.
