2005 Informational Meetings
As planned,
informational meetings for Robofest 2005 will be held on:
- Wed. Dec. 15, 2004, 5-6:30pm, Science Building S321
- Fri. Dec. 17, 2004, 5-6:30pm, Science Building S321 (repeated session)
- Sat. Dec. 18, 2004, 10-11:30am, Science Building S321 (repeated
session)
The agenda of the meeting will be: Introduction to Robofest, 2005 rules, 2005 competition rules, 2005 game demos, and tips on starting Robofest teams.

(3) RoboLab programming resources at techclubs.org
Ann Arbor based
Computer Challenge, a nonprofit organization providing resources to
after-school computer clubs nationwide, recently
setup a new web site at the URL www.techclubs.org.
Everyone can access resources like RoboLab programming tutorials and robot
games. We thank techclubs.org for making this wonderful resources widely
available. You will also find the link, if you click on �Resources� button at
Robofest.net.
(4) OCCRA Women�s Robot Competition, Dec. 4 at Lawrence Tech
The 4rd OCCRA Women's Robotics Competition will be held on Sat. December 4th, 9:00am at Lawrence Tech. OCCRA (Oakland County Competitive Robotics Association) is an association of Oakland County high school robotics teams that have joined to form a league where 110-pound robots compete against each other in a sports-like game. Before the closing ceremony around 2pm, Lawrence Tech students are going to demonstrate computer vision based autonomous laptop robots to the audience.
(5) FLL State Final at Novi Center
The FLL (First Lego League) State Tournament will be held at the Novi Expo Center on Sat. Dec 11. For more details, go to

(6) Robofest web
site will be unavailable
Robofest web site at www.robofest.net maintains the entire team data since the beginning in 2000. The database host machine (ltu164.ltu.edu) will be down on Sat Dec 4th from 6am to Sunday, Dec. 5th afternoon, due to campus UPS replacement.
