(4) Pre-Assessment

Robofest is conducting pre- and post- assessments via an online survey to measure the impact of Robofest on STEM learning. We are doing a controlled experiment and we need as many participants in grades 4 to 12 as possible. This survey will be completely anonymous.

Robofest coaches can help us by sending out the link below to all current Robofest students in grades 5 to 12 for Exhibition and Game and grades 4 to 8 for Fashion/Dance, as well as *any students* grades 4 to 12 in their classes, even those not participating in Robofest 2012.

Please ask the students to complete the assessment as soon as possible, preferably within the next two weeks, Jan 30 to Feb 13. There are 15 math questions with 4 demographic questions and it should take approximately 15 minutes.

We will send an email with similar instructions for taking the post-assessment immediately following the Qualifier season, in early April.

If you have any questions regarding the Robofest 2012 assessment, please contact Dr. Chris Cartwright ([email protected]).
