2015 - 10th Annual RoboParades

MI RoboParade 2015 Schedule | List of Teams | The first RoboParade of the 2015-2016 season was held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from at Macomb Community College Sports and Expo Center in Warren, Michigan.

Additional RoboParade was held at Cobo Center on Saturday, January 18, 2014 9am-3pm in conjunction with the North American International Auto Show. Registration was limited to 15 teams. For a list of teams, view the program here.

The Michigan RoboParade was held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Macomb Community College Expo Center in Warren, Michigan. This event was held together with GRAF.

Text Voting for People's Choice Awards was open to onsite spectators, live streaming video viewers, and recorded streaming video viewers. After the start of People's Choice Award Parade tentatively at 2:15pm, people sent Text messages using their cell phones to 248-230-2370. Text body was RoboParade Robot Flag number only. One vote was allowed per phone number. People might win a Raffle prize. Voting was closed at 3pm on Dec 5 and winners were announced during Robofest kick-off on Dec 5th, 2012. Here is the list of winners and voting results in PDF.

There is another great opportunity for everyone who brings food cans to give back to the community and those in need this holiday season. We will build the Renaissance Center along the parade route with cans. The cans will be donated to Gleaners food bank through Lawrence Tech's Food Fight program. Please bring food cans either on Friday 5pm-8pm or Sat 9am-11am. 14.5 ~15.5 oz size cans are recommended to bring.
Everyone is invited to be judges to select four People's Choice Awards. Spectator Judges will enter raffle prize drawings automatically.
