VEX Pentathlon is a new addition to
Robofest.� There will be two practice
Pentathlons on Saturday, April 29, and a VEX Pentathlon Competition on
Saturday, May 13.� (Please view the VEX
Pentathlon Rules V2.5 link below.)
The VEX Pentathlon will feature 5
events that VEX Team robots can participate in.�� The VEX Pentathlon events are:

April 29, VEX Pentathlon Practice Round:�

May 13, World Robofest Championships
and VEX Pentathlon Competition:� Lawrence
Technological University, Don Ridler Field House, Southfield, Michigan, 48075,
11:00 a.m. � 2:00 p.m.
During the April 29 practice round,
Teams may enter as many robots as they would like in one Pentathlon event, or
all Pentathlon events.�� Teams can
register only one robot in each of the 5 Pentathlon events for the May 13 VEX
Pentathlon Competition.� All robots must
be made from VEX parts only.�
Teams must register for the VEX
Pentathlon Practice Round and the World Robofest VEX Pentathlon
Competition.� Teams do not have to
compete in the Practice to compete at the World Robofest VEX Pentathlon.�
The VEX Pentathlon Practice Rounds
and World Robofest VEX Pentathlon Competition is being hosted and organized by
the Cranbrook Kingswood Robotics Team and hosted by the Woodland Robotics Club.
Registration is now available on the
web for a limited number of teams at the VEX Practice rounds and the May 13
World Robofest VEX Competition.�
Registration will be on a first come first serve basis.� Registration is $35.00 per team.� If a team registers for the practice round,
their $35 fee will cover the World Robofest VEX.� If a team is only competing in the May 13
World Robofest Vex, the fee is $35 for that location.�
