RoboFest 2002 will be held on Sat. April 27 during 
the Open House at Lawrence Tech University. 
The opening ceremony will begin at 10:30am.
This year, 42 coaches registered 75 teams.

We appreciate Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan’s 
sponsorship for Robofest 2002.
This year’s challenge is to deliver 
“medical breathing apparatus” to Lego citizens trapped 
in a burning building behind a ”concrete wall.” 
The robots interact with each other to transfer 
the oxygen masks and use “robotic strength” to remove 
the wall that blocks the victims.  
This year, Robofest is introducing exhibition divisons.
