Qualifying Competition Site Updates
Please note
the following changes and additions to previously announced qualifying
competitions:

Robofest
has added a March 24th Robofest Livingston County RoboSumo
Competition at
·
The
Saturday, March 31 Competition at Macomb Intermediate School District (MISD),
in
·
The
Ann Arbor Trail Magnet School Competition on April 21 in
Registration
for each qualifying competition site is on a first come first serve basis. Please note that some competition locations
are already at capacity. If you have not
yet registered your team for a competition location, you should do so as soon
as possible.

Programming Workshop Schedule
Robofest continues to offer free
Programming Workshops for teams in close proximity to LTU. The workshop schedule can be found on the
Robofest website at www.robofest.net Click on the link entitled 2007 Schedule or
directly at http://www.robofest.net/2007/sch07.htm
. If your team is registered, then you do not need to register for these
workshops. Students, Parents, and
Teachers of the registered teams are invited to attend. Attendees should bring their robots, sensors,
laptops, extra parts.
LeJos Java workshop on Feb 3 uses
RCX brick, not NXT. Participants expected to install necessary software on

Robofest is
always looking for creative ways to promote participation in competition. If you are a member of a Robotics on-line
community, list serve, or other group who might be interested in being a part
of Robofest, please forward them information about the Robofest 2007 Season, or
forward them the Robofest web site address, www.robofest.net Robofest is also willing to send out
electronic and hard copies of promotional flyers if you would like to forward
